Keep the plan, the trade, and the outcome together.
Built first for swing traders managing multi-day to multi-week trades on individual names. Record why you took the trade, the rules you set, and what happened. Then let your AI client read that record beside delayed market data and primary-source research. Slatemark connects through Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard AI clients use to call data tools. Your AI client creates the reply; Slatemark hosts no model.
Free includes the journal, framework rules, and one active AI-client connection. Strategy Scorecard is free on every plan. Plus adds read-only brokerage Account Data, available past booked activity, and periodic imports of newly available booked activity.
Brokerage access is read-only. Slatemark cannot place, modify, or cancel orders or move funds. Journal and rule edits stay in Slatemark. Not investment advice. Slatemark is not a registered investment adviser. Rule defaults are starting points you configure, not recommendations tailored to your circumstances.
Ground the reply in your record and its sources Free core
Ask what changed since you wrote the plan. Slatemark puts your journal and saved rules beside delayed market data and primary-source research. Results include source, fetch time, and freshness where available; your AI client chooses how to present them.
User: “What changed since I wrote this trade plan?”
“I can’t compare this trade with a plan or rule I can’t see.”
“Your original thesisjournal · you is in the journal. The rule you selectedversion preserved is preserved. The latest quotemarket data · delayed is delayed.”
Keep the plan beside the outcome Free core
Record the plan, update it as the trade changes, and close it with what happened. You supply the thesis, rules, tags, notes, planned risk, and realized P&L.
Trade journal
Add entries by hand or through your AI client. At your direction, journal tools can create, update, tag, or delete user-authored records, but only inside Slatemark. Plus can import and reconcile available booked activity; you still add the reason and classification. Import CSV begins with a dry-run preview and duplicate checks. Free includes up to 100 accepted CSV rows in any rolling 30 days. Slatemark does not retain the uploaded file.
Framework rules
Start with editable, versioned rules or one of three editable starter packs. Review every proposed change before applying a pack. Journal entries preserve the rule versions you selected.
Strategy Scorecard
Review past closed trades by date and tag: win rate with a 95% confidence band, dollar expectancy, total P&L, average R where planned risk exists, and holding period. Figures unlock at five scored trades and stay marked low confidence through nine. Download a PDF or PNG.
Free on every plan. Enter closed trades and realized P&L yourself; Plus can reconcile available brokerage activity periodically.
The Strategy Scorecard describes your own past trades. It is not a recommendation, a signal, or a performance claim, and past performance doesn't guarantee future results.
Six questions to start with Free core
Pick a repeatable question for a ticker, position, catalyst, or closed trade. Use the worked prompt in any supported AI client. Optional plugins package the same workflows as Codex skills and Claude Code commands. Each workflow uses only evidence available on your plan and names what is missing. Your external AI client creates the reply. Position review, Earnings setup, and Regime check require Plus.
Plan and monitor
- Pre-trade brief. Compare a delayed quote and common indicators with a level you provide.
- Position review Plus. Compare recorded exposure with your cap. The result does not prescribe an action.
- Earnings setup Plus. Calculate the delayed at-the-money straddle and implied range where listed. No Greeks, executable prices, or structure recommendation.
Research and review
- Regime check Plus. Put the observed yield curve, dollar, credit, financial conditions, and volatility in one view.
- Catalyst map. Put SEC filing facts and FOMC meeting dates on one timeline, without turning dates into instructions.
- Post-mortem. Read the recorded outcome beside your notes and saved rules. You write the lesson and tags.
Research in the AI client you bring Free core
Move from one delayed quote into price history, SEC filings, company facts, macro data, Treasury auctions, energy data, and CFTC positioning. Free covers single-symbol and public sources. Compare the plans for broader analysis.

Research coverage
Plus adds option chains, multi-symbol and whole-portfolio analysis, combined release schedules, deeper SEC views, and optional FINRA API-key access. Brokerage Account Data stays separate.
See coverage and limits
Prices and analysis. Delayed single-symbol quotes are about 15 minutes behind. Intraday history and extended hours are available where listed. Option-chain snapshots start on Plus where listed; midpoint marks are indicative, not executable, and carry no Greeks. Slatemark has no order entry.
Public-source research. Free includes single-symbol technical indicators, primary-source EDGAR filings and company facts, FRED release data, the published FOMC calendar, Treasury auctions, CFTC positioning, and EIA energy data. Plus adds multi-symbol data fetches, portfolio risk, factor, and scenario analysis, combined release schedules, and optional FINRA API-key access.
Keep the record in view
Catalyst calendar Plus
Market-wide dates, plus available events for your watchlist and authorized linked holdings. Choose reminder lead times, including none. Subscribe with Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook. Not every watched or held symbol has an event in every window. Events exclude personal balances, position values, and share quantities. Native Google Calendar delivery is also available.
Read-only at your brokerage Plus
Add authorized accounts, balances, current positions, orders, activity, and fills to the record your AI client can read. Brokerage connections provide Account Data, not market data.
Account context, without order access
Slatemark cannot place, modify, or cancel orders or move funds. Available past booked activity can be imported, and newly available booked activity arrives periodically. You add the thesis, rules, tags, and notes. The connection credential is encrypted at rest.
Disconnect and delete
Disconnecting removes the brokerage connection credential and broker-derived data for that connection, including reconciled activity and auto-created journal rows. Manual journal entries and CSV-imported journal entries remain.
